You may opt (at your own expense) to take a giant glacier snowcoach up to the Athabasca Glacier, a 325-square-kilometer ice field on the Colombia Icefield, where you can experience the awe-inspiring sensation of standing on a 250-meter-thick layer of ice.Afterward, stroll along the glass Skywalk suspended 280 meters above the ground to enjoy spectacular views of the Sunwapta Valley.Continue on to Peyto Lake, nestled at the foot of Caldron Peak at an elevation of 2,911 meters.
