Depart Vancouver in the morning and travel along the scenic Fraser Valley Highway to the semi-arid town of Merritt.After lunch, head to Kelowna, known as the “Fruit Capital,” passing by Okanogan Lake on the way to a renowned VQA winery, where you can enjoy complimentary tastings of red and white wines and purchase world-famous Canadian ice wine. Then continue on to Grizzly Town, stopping to admire the beautiful Changing Colors Lake before passing through Vernon.

In the morning, travel along Highway 1 to Banff National Park, visit the famous Rogers Canyon Passage in Glacier National Park, pass through the UNESCO certified historical and cultural preservation site - Whooping Crane National Park, travel to Lake Louise, known as the "Rocky Mountain Sapphire", and enjoy lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise (optional). In the morning, pass by Crow's Claw Glacier, Bow Lake and enter Jasper National Park, where you can (at your own expense) choose to ride on a giant glacier snowmobile up to Yadabaska Glacier, a 325-square-kilometre sheet of Colombia's Perpetual Ice Field, and experience what it's like to stand on 250 metres of thick ice. Then walk on the 280-meter-high Glass Skywalk, offering stunning views of the Sunwapta Valley.

• Continue to Peyto Lake, nestled at the foot of Caldron Peak at 2,911 meters above sea level, fed by the Peyto Glacier to the southwest (subject to government opening hours), which contains a large amount of ice-accumulated rock dust, giving the lake a Tiffany blue with a greenish tinge in the light reflecting off it.

Visit the Last Spike in the Pacific Railway Park, which is the junction of the Pacific Railway running through the east and west coasts of Canada. It is a commemorative site where the last spike was driven, and also witnesses the contribution of Chinese workers to the railroad more than a hundred years ago.
